Girls Varsity Lacrosse Hears Roar of the Tigers

Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse heard the roar of the Mamaroneck Tigers Tuesday, dropping the away game 13-14.

“Overall a great game for the Garnets,” said Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse Coach Michelle Mason. “We played as a team throughout the entire field and made a strong comeback in the final minutes to tie the game. Maren Wydra and Mackenzie Chimento had great games, Chimento winning key draws. Mary Sack was outstanding on the defensive end. And Lilly Whaling showed up on the draw and offensively against a strong and experienced Mamo team.”
