It is a board boss switcheroo. It is the same as it ever was. Only different.

In case you did not watch Thursday’s Rye City School District’s Board of Education reorganization meeting, Jane Anderson was nominated for and accepted the position of President of the Board of Education, and Jennifer Boyle was nominated for and accepted the position of Vice President of the Board of Education.

Boyle has served as president for three one-year terms (2019-20, 2020-21, and 2021-22) and Anderson has served as vice president for two one-year terms (2020-21 and 2021-22).

Both were sworn in Thursday, and the one-year terms begin immediately. Board officers are nominated and elected annually at the reorganization meeting.
