Girls Varsity Field Hockey Puts Pearl River in a Clam Shell
Rye Girls Varsity Field Hockey put Pearl River in a clam shell Wednesday with a watertight 5-0 win. The five goals were scored by 5 different players which shows how much the team works together as a unit.
“It was nice to see the girls finally executing what we have been practicing the past two weeks,” said Rye Girls Varsity Field Hockey Coach Kelly Vegliante. “Their positioning and ability to connect with each other was impressive today.“
The Garnets will face a tough JJCR team for an away game at 4:30pm Friday. The season is now 1-1.
