Girls Varsity Tennis Caught in Net By Huskies

Rye Girls Varsity Tennis was caught in the net by the Harrison Huskies at home on Wednesday, falling 2-6.

“Harper Van Maanen had her first Varsity singles win convincingly 6-0, 6-4,” said Rye Girls Varsity Tennis Coach Anthony Campbell. “Doubles team of juniors Sophia Karl and Hannah Cali came back from down a set to win 2-6, 6-3, 10-8 in a thrilling Super Tiebreaker to end the evening.”

The season shifts to 1-1. Varsity plays at Pelham on Friday at 4:30pm.
