Girls Varsity Soccer Goes Bonkers on Yonkers
Rye Girls Varsity Soccer went bonkers on Yonkers Tuesday, polishing a Garnet win 9-0 at home.
“Maddy Walsh opened the scoring in the first minute of the game for Rye’s senior night,” said Rye Girls Varsity Soccer Coach Rich Savage.
Senior Megyn Coyne added a hat trick, while Aristea Alexopolous, Signe Olsborg, Devon O’Donnel, Phoebe Lee and Paige Vanneck all added goals for the Garnets. Karenna Chader made one save to persevere the shut out for Rye.
Varsity is now 11-2-1. Rye will host Pelham Wednesday afternoon at 4:30pm (watch it).
