Got Daffodils? Rye Town Park has 9,000 & Needs Your Help
Got Daffodils? Rye Town Park has 9,000 and needs your help this Sunday, November 20th at 9am.
Back on November 9th, Jay Hutchins of Brent & Becky’s Bulbs was at Rye Town Park with a bulb planting tractor to plant 8,000 daffodil bulbs on the park’s great lawn. Friends of Rye Town Park board members, Chris Duncan of the Little Garden Club of Rye and fifth graders from Holy Child were on hand to learn and then help.
This Sunday, November 20th at 9am, community members will gather to plant the ‘extra’ 1,000 bulbs around the park. Bring your gloves, a trowel and your good energy and we will make the cold morning pass quickly. Community Service is available for all youth. Meet at the corner of Forest Avenue and Dearborn Avenue. Please sign up through the Friends of Rye Town Park.
