Boys Varsity Hockey Puts Horace Greeley Quakers in the Back Pew
Rye Boys Varsity Hockey put the Horace Greeley Quakers in the back pew on Wednesday, winning the home game 6-2.
“Nikolai Bazalitski got us going early scoring a goal in front of the net and then added a second later in the third to extend our lead,” said Rye Boys Varsity Hockey Coach Peter Thomas.
In addition to Bazalitski’s two goals, Dempsey Brown and Seth Dorfman both had a goal and an assist, Tommy Broderick and Nathan Tietjen each had a goal. Henry Bagley and Liam Draddy added assists while Fernando Mosquera 14 saves for the win.
The Garnet record improves to 7-1. Varsity hosts Clarktown Friday at 8pm.
