Boys Varsity Hockey Topped by Lancaster Legends

Rye Boys Varsity Hockey was topped by the Lancaster Legends on Tuesday. The Legends polished the Garnets at the away game, taking the  win 5-4.

“Special teams were the difference in tonight’s game,” said Rye Boys Varsity Hockey Coach Peter Thomas. “They were good on the power play and we kept giving them chances.”

Tommy Richardson and Henry Bagley each had a goal and an assist, Dempsey Brown and Tommy Broderick each had goals and Brandon Morgan made 16 saves.

The Garnet record shifts to 7-2. The team plays versus Clarence on Wednesday.
