Girls Varsity Squash Locks Staples in the Office

Rye Girls Varsity Squash locked Staples High School of Westport in the office on Monday, with a 6-1 win.

“Rye Girls are a step closer to sweeping the Fairwest League with a strong team win against Staples 6-1,” said Rye Girls Varsity Squash Coach Tony Campbell. “Senior captain Despina Sfiris came back from down 2-0 in games to win in 5 games 3-2 and dominated the 5th game 11-2 in an exciting match.”

The team is first in the Fairwest League and has an overall record of 9-2. The Garnets play at Rye Country Day on Wednesday, February 8th at 4:30pm.
