Rye YMCA 35th Annual Rye Derby is Sunday, April 30th
In seven weeks on Sunday, April 30th, the streets of Rye will come alive with the 35th Annual Rye Derby Road Race, the Rye YMCA’s most popular family fundraiser. The Derby combines road races for all ages with Healthy Kids Day activities in a fun-filled celebration of family, community and health. Close to 1,000 people participate in the races and related festivities.

5M/5K Run: $35; $40 day of race
1M Family Fun Run/Walk: $25
START TIMES:
5M/5K Road Races: 9:15 am start
1M Family Fun Run/Walk: 11:00 am start
The Rye Derby TEAM CHALLENGE
Team up with friends, family and coworkers to promote health and fitness. There is no additional cost. Compete for the prestigious Team Challenge Awards: FASTEST TEAM, MOST CREATIVE ATTIRE and MOST PARTICIPANTS. Must have a minimum of 5 Team Members to qualify for the Team Challenge Awards.
The Y’s parking lot at 21 Locust Avenue will be the center for Healthy Kids Day (rain or shine) filled with free family-friendly activities designed to keep kids moving, playing and learning.
Activities may include:

• Gymnastics stations
• Carnival games
• Face painting
• Sports samplers
