Girls Varsity Lacrosse Comes Back on I-684 Empty Handed
Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse came back down I-684 empty handed after its first loss of the season on Thursday. John Jay Cross River got the better of the Garnets, polishing a 15-5 win over the gemstones.
“The Garnets scored the first goal of the game off of the draw to Goodman,” said Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse Coach Michelle Mason. “Unfortunately, we struggled to maintain possession and limit their offensive opportunities. Beau Whaling tallied her first varsity goal of her career and Katherine Ebeling tallied her first 2 saves as a varsity player.”
