Girls Varsity Softball Leaves Sleepy Hollow Headless
Rye Girls Varsity Softball left Sleep Hollow headless on Wednesday, taking the commanding win at home 18-1.
“Erin Ball pitched a complete game 1 hitter with 1 earned run and 6 strike outs for her first win of the season,” said Rye Girls Varsity Softball Coach Alex Tejera. “She also went 2 for 3 with a triple, a walk, and 2 runs scored. Ashley Kessner ( 2 for 3, 2B 2 Rbi 3R BB) and Tessa Labovitz (2 for 3 3 Rbi 2 R) contributed offensively as well. Jillian DeSanto, Ava Rollano, and Laura Svoboda each recored their first Varsity hit in the game.”
