Girls Varsity Softball Put in Hutch by Eastchester
Rye Girls Varsity Softball was put in the hutch at Eastchester on Monday. Eastchester chiseled the Garnets 12-7.
“Erin Ball pitched a complete game allowing only 3 earned runs on 11 hits and took the tough loss,” said Rye Girls Varsity Softball Coach Alex Tejera. “At the plate, she was 2 for 4 with a SB and a run scored.”
Penelope Gilmore was 3 for 4 with 3 Rbis and a run scored. Millie Brooks added to the offense going 2-4 with 2 runs scored. Ashley Kessner, Tessa Labovitz, and Ava Cross each added an Rbi.
