Unified Basketball Soars Over the Eagles
Rye Unified Basketball soared over the Eastchester Eagles during an away game on Monday.
“We had an exciting game this afternoon at Eastchester!,” said Rye Unified Basketball Coach Margo Hackett. “Alex Elovaara had countless fast break layups. Zafeer Olatidoye played tenacious full court defense. Julie Purcell hustled and took a mid range jumpshot. Emma Sassower had multiple rebounds and layups. Thomas Weckessar was our leading scorer and distributed the ball well. TJ Neeves scored a couple of baskets and was competitive on both ends of the floor.”
