Boys Varsity Football Not Happy in Pleasantville
Rye Boys Varsity Football was not happy in Pleasantville on Friday evening. The Garnets fell prey to the Panthers in a 21 – 12 loss. The Garnet season evens at 2 – 2.
“In a hard fought Class B contest against the Pleasantville Panthers, Rye came up short, losing 21-12 after leading 12-7 at the half,” said Rye Boys Varsity Football Coach Dino Garr. “The Garnets were hurt by crucial self-imposed errors, especially in the second half. We are looking to rebound against Nyack this Friday night at Nugent Stadium.”
