Two apartments at the new luxury development St. Regis Residences, Rye at 120 Old Post Road were hit on this past Monday, September 18th. Cash, jewelry, electronics, handbags and other personal items of value were stolen. Both apartments were unoccupied at the time of the burglaries.

“We haven’t not developed or identified any suspects at this point,” City of Rye Public Safety Commissioner Mike Kopy told MyRye.com. “We’re certainly looking at this as a concentration of burglaries in one location as being unusual.”

A third burglary took place at 100 unit St. Regis Residences, Rye about a year ago.

The development, a 55+ residence with multi-million dollar apartments, features a 50-foot indoor pool, spa treatment rooms, a library with 2-sided gas fireplace, cognac room with television and billiards, a 15-seat theatre-style screening room, Golf simulator room, 12-seat John Jacob Astor boardroom, great hall with curated art gallery, drawing room with fireplace and bar and a pet spa. The St. Regis Residences, Rye is the world’s first St. Regis Residences property to operate without a hotel.
