Rye Girls Varsity Tennis caused a lot of Suffern on Friday, winning the away match against the Suffern Mounties 4 – 3.

“In the last doubles match on court sophomore Tori Hobbins and freshmen Paloma Pepper came back to win 4-6 ,6-0, 7-1 in a modified tiebreaker to secure the team win 4-3,” said Rye Girls Varsity Tennis  Coach Tony Campbell. “It’s been quite a road adventure the last two days with the wins coming down to tiebreakers and the whole team cheering. These moments really bring the team together.”

The team season is now 4 – 1. Varsity hosts Pelham next Wednesday at 4:30pm.
