Rye Girls Varsity Soccer delivered a performance over the Panthers of Ardsley Wednesday that was the cat’s pajamas – a commanding 9 – 0 win.
“Rye had a successful night hosting the Panthers of Ardsley,” said Rye Girls Varsity Soccer Rich Savage. “From start to end, Rye dominated the game with each player contributing to the win.”
Each of the captains Isabelle Harvey, Maddy Walsh, Mali White and Sage Ruttenberg had goals for the Garnets. Ruttenberg had her first goal of her high school career and Sienna Wardle, Sophia Shoemaker, Lucy Wykoff and Ava Cross all had their first varsity goal of the season. Karenna Chaser had three saves for the shutout.
