Boys Varsity Hockey Falls to Clarkstown

Rye Boys Varsity Hockey fell to Clarkstown North on Wednesday 3 – 8 during their second outing of the season.

“We lacked urgency at the start of the game and once again found ourselves trying to dig out of a hole,” said Rye Boys Varsity Hockey Coach Peter Thomas. “We are integrating a lot of new players into our system and we are feeling some of those growing pains right now.”

Seth Dorfman from Henry Bagley and Tommy Broderick

Trevor Dolan from Drew Dolan and Matt Giannetti

Goaltending:
Owen Fitzgibbons stopped 19 of 26 shots faced and Brandon Morgan stopped 11 of 12 shots in relief.

The Garnets are now 0 – 2 for the season. Next up the Garnets face Scarsdale next Wednesday at 7:45pm at Playland.
