Boys Varsity Hockey Feels the Pain from Suffern

Rye Boys Varsity Hockey felt the pain from Suffern on Friday with the Garnets falling 0 – 6 at the away match-up.

“We came out really strong and dictated the play early on,” said Rye Boys Varsity Hockey Coach Peter Thomas. “We were definitely the more determined team. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any bounces and in the second they did get some bounces. It was a good game and I’m proud of how our guys played and battled throughout.”

The team is now 5 – 7. Next up the Garnets face Pelham at 5:00pm on Tuesday at Pelham Memorial.
