Boys Varsity Hockey Takes Rye Country Day Private in OT

Rye Boys Varsity Hockey took Rye Country Day private in OT on Friday with a 6 – 5 win.

“This was a back and forth game from the start which is what you’d expect when two rivals get together,” said Rye Boys Varsity Hockey Coach Peter Thomas. “We continued to battle throughout and our commitment to our game paid off when Lucas Tsuchida tied the score inside the final two minutes of the third and Henry Bagley won it for us with one second left in overtime.”

    • Tsuchida from T. Dolan and Bagley

  • Rye Goaltending:
    • Brandon Morgan earned the win making 10 saves on 15 shots

The team is now 4 – 6. Next up is Mamaroneck at 7:45pm this Wednesday at Playland Ice Arena.
