The city council’s agenda for its meeting at 6:30pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 is out. The meeting will also be aired on Cablevision Channel 75 and Verizon Channel 39. We’ll also see you on the Internet (live and archive).

Formal office hours of the Mayor and other officials have been suspended.

Let’s check the batting order and highlights from the 11 agenda items.

  • Paving the Way. Presentation of 2024 street resurfacing plan.
  • Turf Wars. Nursery Field Presentation. (No public comments will be accepted)
  • Open Mic. Members of the public may be heard on matters for Council consideration that do not appear on the agenda.
  • eBay. Resolution to declare certain equipment as surplus.
  • CONSENT AGENDA: Pollinators!
    • Consideration of a request by Rye City Rotary and Rye Arts Center to
      install the public butterfly sculpture project in May 2024 (exact date
      TBD).
  • Patronage. Appointments to Boards and Commissions by the Mayor with Council approval.
  • Setting a New Agenda. Resolution adopting rules for agenda setting and conducting business at council meetings.

The next regular meeting of the City Council will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 6:30pm.
