Girls Varsity Softball Clawed by the Eagles
Rye Girls Varsity Softball was clawed by the Eagles of Eastchester falling 4 – 9 at Eastchester High School’s EHS Softball Field.
“We played hard but they were able to get some clutch hits and came out on top,” said Rye Girls Varsity Softball Coach Alex Tejera. “I’m proud of the way the team played. They fought until the very end.”
Game highlights included:
- Penelope Gilmore went 3 for 4 with a R and also pitched 3 1/3 0H 0R 1BB 2K in relief
- Caroline Joyce, Ava Cross, Ava Rollano, Hana Murati (2B Rbi) and Clara Meszkat each added hits
