Rye Town Park announced on July 9 that, due to popular demand, the park is waiving beach fees for local residents for the next eight Tuesdays, from now until August 27.

President Gary Zuckerman and the entire Rye Town Park Commission made the decision in an effort to give back to the community. Everyone with proof of residence in Port Chester (10573), Rye Brook (10573), Rye City (10580), and Rye Neck (10543) will no longer have to pay to enter the beach on each and every Tuesday for the next two months.

“Please take advantage and relax, revitalize, soak up some sun and enjoy the ocean breeze,” the commission said in their announcement.

Free Tuesday Dates:‍

July 9
July 16
July 23
July 30
August 6
August 13
August 20
August 27

Other notes: proof of residency is required; parking is not included in the waived fee; details on bus times are still being worked out
