Pet Adoption: Hudson, Lively and Respectful
MyRye.com features dogs and cats that are up for adoption by Pet Rescue, a no kill pet shelter in Harrison.
Hudson
Status: Adoptable
Age: 7 years
Breed: Golden Retriever mix
Gender: Female
Adult size: Large (55 lbs and heavier)
Weight: 55 lbs
Hudson is a very beautiful, smart, and loyal Golden Retriever mix and, at 7 years old and 55 lbs, is very active for her age! She has been with her current family for 6 years, and is very loved, but is being rehomed due to concerns about her level of anxiety around their toddler.
If you like to get out and exercise, Hudson would love to be your fitness partner. She walks nicely on a leash, and loves to hike and be outdoors. Hudson is dog selective (prefers male dogs), and wants to be the only dog in her forever home. She is completely housebroken and respectful when left alone. She is never destructive … no chewing or getting into anything she shouldn’t.
Hudson spent some time living in an apartment in Brooklyn, and did not enjoy the city environment … she is much happier now living in the quieter suburbs with a fenced-in backyard. Hudson prefers an adult-only home to enjoy with her forever family… with an experienced dog owner who is committed to continuing her training.
