Girls Field Hockey Lands the Patriots of John Jay East Fishkill in Season Opener
Rye Girls Varsity Field Hockey landed the Patriots of John Jay East Fishkill in its season opener on Thursday at Nugent Stadium, with a 5 – 0 win.
“With only 7 days of preseason and not much time before our opener I was happy the way the girls came together on the field,” said Rye Girls Varsity Field Hockey Coach Kelly Vegliante.
Game highlights included:
- Beau Whaling had 3 goals and 1 assist
- Caroline Doyle had 1 goal and 2 assists
- Kate Morreale had 1 goal
- Missy Mann and Kendall Bahl each had an assist
