Rye – Rye Neck – Blind Brook Swimming Paces Horace Greeley in Balanced Effort
The Rye – Rye Neck – Blind Brook Swimming Team defeated Horace Greeley on Friday evening by a score of 104-77. The team moved to 2-0 on the season following this comfortable victory, which was highlighted by several standout individual performances.
Kate Chesley qualified for States in the 100-meter backstroke after her showing Friday. Chesley, along with three other girls, also earned Sectional qualifications, as follows:
- Chesley and Sophia Lord qualified for Sectionals in the 200M individual medley
- Grayson Findlay qualified for Sectionals in 50M freestyle
- Kayla Lombardo qualified for Sectionals in the 100M freestyle and 100M breaststroke
The team is back in action next against Ursuline on Monday, September 16, at 4:30pm at Purchase College.
