Rye Volleyball Celebrates Senior Night with Sweep vs. Mahopac

The Rye Volleyball team played their final home regular season game of the 2024 season on Wednesday evening, coming away with a clean victory in three sets. The final score was 28-26, 25-10, 25-21. The second set was an outlier, as the Wolf Pac hung right with the Garnets in the very competitive first and third sets.

It was senior night for Rye, who celebrated their seven seniors: Ashley Dehmer, Josie Rigert, Erin Ball, MacKenzie Kressler, Anna Nolasco, Sabrina Pereira, and Ava Fleckten. Dehmer rose to the occasion with 27 assists, 3 kills, and 4 blocks. Ball also played very well with 12 kills, 4 aces, and 3 digs. For underclassmen, Valeria Medina had 8 kills and 13 digs, and Phoebe Greto recorded 7 kills and 4 blocks.

Rye’s regular season is not over – they play one final game, a home contest against Harrison. First serve against the Huskies is set for 4:30pm on Thursday, October 24.
