The 16U softball team the Rye Rockets recently won the championships of the Greater Hudson Valley League. The team is the first 16U team for Rye Girls Softball.

“I’ve coached some of these players for five seasons now,” said Rockets Coach and Rye High School ‘15 graduate Amanda Yannett. “These girls are really special. They support each other while pushing each other to be better, and they never let obstacles or losses diminish their motivation to keep battling.”
