Rye Girls Basketball Stifles Nyack for Second Consecutive Win
Rye Girls Basketball became the first winter sport team at Rye High to reach multiple victories in 2024-25, limiting Nyack to 30 points in a 48-30 victory on Tuesday evening. It’s the second straight game where the Garnets have allowed fewer than 40 points against, and their multi-threat offense did enough to pull out the win.
Molly Kennedy and Phoebe Greto each recorded 13 points in another balanced offensive attack. Paige Tepedino added 11 points to round out Rye’s double-digit scorers. Stella Maresca was solid behind them with 8 points herself.
