Man Arrested in Rye for DWI, Other Infractions

A 30-year-old male was arrested in Rye over the weekend for allegedly driving while intoxicated (DWI).
Jonathan Soto of Cold Spring, New York, was involved in a two-car collision at the intersection of Playland Access Drive and Theodore Fremd Avenue. Soto was accused of being the at-fault driver, and he was arrested for “Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations,” according to the Rye Police Department.
Soto was transported to the Rye Police Headquarters for processing, where he recorded a 0.13% BAC, 0.05 above the legal limit. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Rye City Court on February 25 before being released by Rye PD.
Soto has a previous DWI conviction from within the last ten years.
