In Memory: Scott Luhrmann, 62

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Arlene and Arthur Luhrmann, and his beloved dog, Amstel. He leaves behind his life partner, Alison Thresher, whose love and companionship meant the world to him. He is also survived by his devoted siblings, June and Marvin Leto, Gail and Gary Johnson, and Arthur Luhrmann, Jr., his cherished nieces and nephew, Jennifer Leto, Christopher Johnson, and Tiffany Johnson; and his adored great-niece, Zoey Johnson. His beloved pets—Daisy, Khaleesi, and Harrison—will miss the warmth and affection he always gave so freely. Scott’s absence will be profoundly felt by the many close friends who were lucky enough to know him.
Scott was a man of dedication, both in his professional life and his passions. Most recently, he worked as an elevator inspector for the City of New York, bringing diligence and commitment to his role. But it was in the world of sports that his heart truly found its rhythm. Over the years, he held roles with the NY Cosmos soccer team and several hockey organizations, including the New York Rangers, Toledo Storm, and Roanoke Valley Rebels. His enthusiasm and knowledge left a lasting impact on the teams and the people he worked with.
Scott’s legacy is woven into the hearts and lives of his family and the spirit of the sports he loved. His passion for hockey, his devotion to NASCAR, and the love he shared with those around him will never be forgotten. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered
The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home on Tuesday March 25, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to the North Shore Animal League in Scott’s memory.
