Rye Girls Lacrosse picked up their first signature win of the 2025 season on Tuesday, April 15, defeating Conestoga High School in Pennsylvania 10-7. The Garnets bused to Berwyn on Monday and took care of business against a formidable out-of-state opponent to move to 4-2 on the season.

Although Head Coach Michelle Mason must have been proud of her entire team, she highlighted one player in particular who drove the Garnets to victory. “Paige Tepedino had a stand out game in the midfield for the Garnets,” Mason told MyRye.com. Tepedino ended the day with a hat trick and one assist for four points on offense, and one ground ball, two caused turnovers, and seven draw controls on defense.

Rye circled this matchup on their calendars ahead of the year as a tough non-league matchup, and led by Tepedino, came out on top. They will face another talented out-of-state foe in their next spring break showdown on Thursday, April 17. The Garnets travel back to the coast into Connecticut to visit Wilton. Action begins at 6:00pm.
