The city council’s agenda for its meeting at 6:30pm on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 is out. The Council will convene at 6:00pm and adjourn into Executive Session to discuss potential property acquisition and STS settlement. The meeting will also be aired on Cablevision Channel 75 and Verizon Channel 39. We’ll also see you on the Internet (live and archive).

Formal office hours of the Mayor and other officials have been suspended.

  • It’s Warm in Here. Presentation by the Climate Smart Communities Task Force.
  • Positively Electric. Presentation on the Westchester Power program by Noam Bramson, Executive Director of Sustainable Westchester.
  • Masterful. Authorization for the City Planner to publish the Request for Proposal for a comprehensive plan.
  • 911, Call Kenny B. Resolution authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute the Port Chester-Rye-Rye Brook EMS Transportation Agreement.
  • Dreamy. Authorization for the Interim City Manager to execute an agreement with Cloud First to provide managed IT services to City facilities.
  • Code Red. Consideration to set a public hearing for the April 23, 2025, meeting to consider a local law amending the firefighter property tax exemption.
  • Erin’s New Ride. Authorization to approve the purchase of a Ford Explorer for the Recreation Department for $46,451.91 with funds from the Vehicle Replacement Account.
  • (Jon) Hamming It Up. Consideration of a request from Apple Studios, LLC, to use portions of Purchase Street and City parking spaces to film an episode of Your Friends & Neighbors in Rye on April 23, 2025, from 7 AM to 6 PM.

The next regular meeting of the City Council will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 6:30pm.
