Rye Guy Visit, Some Love for Little Dublin?: Rye City Council Agenda for Wednesday, April 23, 2025

The city council’s agenda for its meeting at 6:30pm on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 is out. The Council will convene at 5:00pm and adjourn into Executive Session to discuss potential City of Rye v. Village of Port Chester and Playland litigation. The meeting will also be aired on Cablevision Channel 75 and Verizon Channel 39. We’ll also see you on the Internet (live and archive).

Formal office hours of the Mayor and other officials have been suspended.

• Open Mic. Members of the public may be heard on matters for Council consideration that do not appear on the agenda.
• Greg’s Grist > Brian’s Bran. Report of the (New, Interim) City Manager.
• Positively Electric. Discussion of possible resolution authorizing the execution of a MOU with Westchester Power.
• Need Flood of Cash. Resolution in support of FY26 Congressional community project funding request for the Locust Ave. Bridge replacement project.
• Some Love for Little Dublin? Resolution in support of a grant application to the New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Municipal Parks and Recreation Grant Program (MPR) for improvements to Gagliardo Park [plans in development, to be discussed at a later date].
• Dreamy in the Clouds. Authorization for the Interim City Manager to execute an agreement with Cloud First to provide managed IT services to City facilities.
• U Get An Audit, and… Authorization for the Interim City Manager to execute an agreement with U-Audit to provide utility audit services to the City of Rye.
• Code Red. Public hearing to consider a local law amending the firefighter property tax exemption.
