Film and TV star Jon Hamm will be back in downtown Rye tomorrow (Wednesday, April 23, 2025) with Apple Studios to film an episode of Your Friends & Neighbors. Parking on and off Purchase Street will be impacted by production staff and vehicles. The filming is expected to take place between 7:00am and 6:00pm. Shooting will be in and around Ruby’s Oyster Bar & Bistro and Aurora restaurant. Staging areas include Car Park 4 (off Purchase Street, behind Carpet Trends) and the Highland lot (down the hill from Metro North).
Hamm stars in Your Friends & Neighbors’ lead role as Coop, a recently divorced hedge fund manager who, after being fired, resorts to stealing from the wealthy residents in his tiny upstate New York suburb in order to keep his family’s lifestyle afloat. Hamm shot the series last spring in Rye, and Apple Studios was also here last July to shoot a film called Swipe. Other stars in the show include Amanda Peet and Olivia Munn.
