This week’s house is actress, producer, talk show host Drew Barrymore’s 12 Acre Harrison estate. A Hollywood superstar starting with her childhood role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Barrymore’s films have grossed more than US$2.3 billion.
Barrymore lives in Manhattan but has used the home on the weekends. The broker, who is also helping Barrymore find another property in Westchester, is Kori Sassower of The Kori Sassower Team at Compass. The ideal buyer said Sassower is someone looking for privacy or someone who is looking for a family compound.
The 12 acre property is one of the largest lots in southern Westchester. After she purchased the property in 2020, Barrymore had the property subdivided into five lots. The property is being sold as one piece but Sassower said “If somebody wants to buy it and sell it off or build on it, they can do that. I would say it’s like three lots that are easily developable. Two lots are a little bit more wetlands, not as flat, so need some serious site work to make them work.”
“She lived there. She loves designing, and she loves everything she did with it, and then she wanted to sell it. She’s just making a change. She put her heart and soul into designing this house to make it perfect,” continued Sassower who said Barrymore would consider selling the home fully furnished.
The house officially goes on the market on Monday, April 6, 2026.
