Adult Workshop: Painting “Alla Prima” Still Life in Oil

April 16 & 17, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Ages 21 & up

In this two-day workshop, students will learn to create an “alla prima” Oil Still life painting. Using a step-by-step approach, participants will paint a study of an individual still life using a direct painting method. Pat will guide each student with in-depth personal critiques through each stage of the process from creating a strong design with careful drawing, to color mixing, modeling form and finishing details. Objects will be supplied for each student (please feel free to bring your own personal objects if you want.) See website for supply list.
