During its recent Fill-the-Boot drive on Saturday, December 12th, the Rye FD was able to raise over $8,000 for the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.

The Rye Professional Firefighters Local 2029 released a statement saying: “The members of the Rye Professional Firefighters Local 2029 would like to thank the Rye community for it’s incredible support during our Fill-the-Boot drive. We were able to raise over $8,000 for the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. Along with the funds raised during our annual Golf Outing, we should be close to our goal of $10,000. During this past year Local 2029 members also raised money for breast cancer awareness and wounded veterans. Thank you Rye community! “
