Girls Varsity Soccer zeroed out Pelham 3-0 at home Tuesday. Rye is now 4-0 for the season and takes an early first place lead for the league title.

“Rye came out strong scoring three goals in the first 20 minutes of the game,” said Girls Varsity Soccer Coach Rich Savage. “Reilly Traynor was solid in the back line and Bell Jackson was perfect on the net for the Garnets.”

Once again, Rye had three different players find the back of the net. Annabelle Thomas started the scoring off and then two freshman: Molly White and Maddy Walsh each followed up with a goal. Meredith Tutun, Zoe Rockas and Caroline Cox added the assists for Rye.
Rye’s defense had a solid performance once again and has not yet permitted a goal this season. Riley Traynor led the defensive back line while sophomore Bell Jackson came up with some big plays for Rye.
