Due to the three holidays in the month of November, the City of Rye is adjusting the garbage and recycling schedule adjustments for the month:

Week of 11/2

  • Election Day: Tuesday, November 3rd is a City government holiday and there will
    be NO trash and recycling pick-up,
  • Regularly scheduled Tuesday pick-up (garbage and recycling) will shift to
    Wednesday, November 4th,
  • Food Scraps will be picked up as usual on Wednesday,
  • Green Waste will not have regularly scheduled Wednesday pick-up but please
    leave your green waste on the curb and rolling pick-ups will occur in that week.

Week of 11/9

  • Veterans Day is Wednesday, November 11th and there will be no City Services,
  • There will be no Food Scrap curbside collection but drop-off is still available that
    week,
  • Green waste will not have regularly scheduled Wednesday pick-up but please
    leave your green waste on the curb and rolling pick-ups will occur in that week

Week of 11/16

  • No holidays this week
  • The regular schedule for garbage, recycling, Food Scraps, green waste, etc, will
    apply

Week of 11/23

  • Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26th and there will be no City Services
  • Regularly scheduled Thursday pick-up (garbage and recycling) will shift to
    Wednesday, November 25th
  • There will be no Food Scrap curbside collection but drop-off is still available that
    week
  • Green Waste will not have regularly scheduled Wednesday pick-up but please
    leave your green waste on the curb and rolling pick-ups will occur in that week
  • The regular garbage and recycling schedule will apply for Friday, November 27th
