Rye Schools Peeps: Osborn and Midland Newbies
We've got new peeps (faculty, administrators and staff) at Rye Schools across the district.
Today, we feature the new peeps at Rye Midland and Osborn. There are new new hires at Milton:
Midland School
Theresa Jelalian
Physical Education
Ms. Jelalian comes to Midland from Rye High School, where she worked as a leave replacement physical education teacher for the 2018-19 school year. Previously, she served as a substitute teacher for the Suffern and East Ramapo Central School Districts. She has significant coaching experience, having served as Assistant Coach for the Rye High School girls varsity field hockey team and for the Suffern girls travel, varsity and JV basketball teams. She has a B.S. in Education with a concentration in Adapted Physical Education from SUNY Cortland.
Osborn School
Pia Weston
School Psychologist
Ms. Weston comes to Osborn from Liberty Elementary School in Nyack, where she served as the school psychologist for the past five years. Prior to that, she was the school psychologist at Nyack Middle School. She has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Rochester and an Ed.M. in School Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
