Got Brick? Deadline Wednesday to Help Rye Schools
You can buy a brick for $1,500. The deadline is tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25, 2015.
The Rye Fund for Education is preparing to place its very first order of engraved items for the Garnets' Academic Courtyard. You can purchase a brick paver, bench or planter. Prices vary from $175 for a 4'' x 8'' paver to $5,000 for a hardwood bench.
The cash does towards The Rye Fund for Education, a non-profit, "is independent from the Rye City School District, but its sole purpose is to support Rye’s public schools and educational excellence in our community" AKA another source of funding as we get shanghai-ed by New York State's tax cap.
