1,000 for Latkany As Girls Varsity Basketball Moves to 6-0 Season with Eastchester Win
What a day for Rye Girls Varsity Basketball.
On Saturday, the team moved to a 6-0 season with a dominating win over Eastchester 61-27 at home while Amanda Latkany celebrated her 1,000 point.
“Amanda Latkany scored her 1,000th point,” said Girls Varsity Basketball Coach Margo Hackett. “This is a huge accomplishment for a talented player and an even better person. Amanda does it all for us on and off the court. She is a tremendous player, a wonderful teammate, and a hardworking student.”
