This is Your Brain. This is Your Brain at a Discussion on Teens and Substances
A panel "Teens and Substances: Their Health, The Law and Your Liability" will be held on March 26th, 2014, 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm at the Rye High School Performing Arts Center.
The Rye City School District, Rye Youth Council and Rye High School PO are pleased to partner together to provide this meaningful program. An expert panel, including representatives from the Westchester County District Attorney's office, Rye Police Department, Westchester County Police Department, and an Emergency Room physician, moderated by Ellen Morehouse, Executive Director of Student Assistance Services, will take a hard look at the realities of teenage drug and alcohol use.
The Rye Youth Council Players will enact real-life scenarios and the panel will discuss the legal issues, as well as the health consequences of underage substance abuse.
