The Rye Youth Council Employment Office (RYCES) is located across from the library and is eager to help students sort out their options.
Job opportunities: counselors, lifeguards (certification at age 15), snack bar, beach boys, summer mother’s helpers (boys and girls), tutoring, outdoor/physical work, Playland, restaurants, pet care, as well as stores and offices.
Students are encouraged to come into the office on Monday thru Thursday, from 10-3 to speak with Mrs. Jacoby or one of the volunteers and newly-register or update their record.
