Boys & Girls XC Cool Runnings @ County Championship

The Rye Boys & Girls Cross Country team had cool runnings at the Westchester County Championship on Saturday.

“The Westchester County Championship races happened on Saturday at Somers High School with the Rye Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams taking 19th and 18th respectively,” said the Rye Boys & Girls Cross Country Coach Mike Szarkowicz. “Leading the boys team, Dom Cich placed 29th in a time of 17:40. On the girl side, Jessica Bourne was 71st place in a time of 23:04 for the 5k distance.”

Rye had a collective 534 points vs. the top team with 105. The XC team is now 3-3.
