Rye First Responders Fighting Food Insecurity: Donate to RyeFIRST

 

This is the second year of RyeFIRST — an online fundraiser organized by Rye’s first responders (the Rye PBA and the Professional Firefighters Local 2029) and MyRye.com to help those in the greater Westchester area, impacted by COVID-19 and its economic impacts, who are suffering from food insecurity.

The fundraiser is entirely online, and tax deductible donations go directly to the Feeding Westchester food bank. In its first year, RyeFIRST raised $4,000. Please help us meet and beat our first year record.

Feeding Westchester’s mission is to end hunger in our county. The food bank is at the heart of a network of more than 300 partners, and sources and distributes food to towns across the county. The group is responding to the greatest need and demand it has ever seen for food in the county.
