Santa Requesting Letters from Rye Children
People in this town have some serious pull.
Not only does the Chamber of Commerce and Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s arrange for Santa to show up on Purchase Street last Sunday, but now Santa has sent a request via Rye Recreation for letters from “all the perfect little boys & girls of Rye this holiday season”.
You can have your child write a letter to Santa and drop it off at one of Santa’s brand new mailboxes in Rye. You’ll find the mailboxes at the Rye Rec office at 281 Midland Avenue and at the corner of Elm & Purchase St (in front of Anna Maria’s Wine Bar – no word if Santa stops in for something to warm him up when he picks up the mail).
Make sure to include a return address on your envelope. Rudolph will come via Reindeer Express to collect the letters and take them back to the North Pole for Santa to reply. He promises to be quick to send his messages back. Santa is accepting letters through Monday, December 13th.
