Girls Varsity Cheerleading Improves in Second Competition

Rye Girls Varsity Cheerleading traveled up to John Jay East Fishkill for their winter invitational competition. It’s only the second competition for the team after entering its first just last weekend in New Rochelle.

“After a week of major changes and injuries, the team had an amazing performance and scored higher in every category on the scoresheet,” said Rye Girls Varsity Cheerleading Coach Melissa Marsden. “We thank all of the fans that made the trip or streamed in from home. The team travels to Scarsdale next weekend for another competition.”
